Maintenance & Project Commissioning Engineer
Based - Hamble, Salary - £30,000
We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate person within the marine industry to fill the role of Maintenance & Project Commissioning Engineer. You will be responsible for the continuing maintenance of yachts in our care along with project managing yachts brought to us for refits where the owner has long term cruising in mind. Your role will be a diverse mix of hands on and organisational tasks, with a requirement for both breadth and depth of knowledge across all major boat systems. You will need a desire to continually develop your skills and be part of a small, fast growing business where your ideas and input will be essential.
Knowledge & Skills
This position requires a Mon- Fri working week, with additional hours possible on occasion. The successful candidate will enter a probationary period of six months, once passed there will then be regular reviews of performance and an annual review to provide a framework for professional progress within the company. We consider this to be a key post in enabling the company to move forward.

The company is based in Hamble however it works with boat owners across Europe and beyond. White Dot Sailing works with organisations such as the World Cruising Club, specialising in preparing and supporting owners on their blue water adventures, including the ARC rallies. The company has an ambitious business plan in place which will see it expanding at pace, whilst continuing to provide an excellent service to its established clients.
